Poems by Dylan Mazzella

Poems

A poem is like a puzzle
Where the ideas in the writers head seem to juggle
A poem to some may be hard to write
But when it is finished it can be a delight

I haven't written that many poems
That may be unlike high King Jeroboam
Who died in nine hundred and ten BC
And lived nowhere near Washington, DC

Nobody knows why poetry was created
But everybody understands that it will never be too dated
For poetry seems to be utilized and beautiful to hear
No better example exists than William Shakespeare

Poems can vary in tonality
It can be blithe in it's finality
But poems will forever be enjoyed
This is an actuality one cannot avoid
